Next P.O.S.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

1. Who we are

Next P.O.S. is a cloud point-of-sale service operated by Nextcore Technology Inc. ("Nextcore", "we"), 17F Atherton Place, Philippines. This policy covers the Next P.O.S. web application and the Next P.O.S. terminal apps for Android and iOS (the "apps").

2. What the terminal app stores on your device

The terminal app stores only device-level settings locally: the server address it connects to and the receipt-printer address you configure. It does not collect advertising identifiers, location, contacts, photos, or usage analytics, and it contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Receipt data is transmitted directly from your device to your own receipt printer over your local network or USB connection; it does not pass through any third party.

3. What the cloud service processes

When your business subscribes to Next P.O.S., the cloud service processes the data your business enters in the course of operating a point of sale: staff accounts (usernames and sign-in PINs, stored hashed), product/menu catalogs, sales transactions, and the customer or buyer details your cashiers record on receipts (for example, BIR-required buyer information or Senior Citizen/PWD/Solo Parent details required by Philippine law).

This data belongs to the subscribing business. Nextcore processes it solely to provide the service and to meet Philippine regulatory requirements (Bureau of Internal Revenue rules require sales records to be retained for up to ten (10) years).

4. What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not share business or personal data with third parties except the infrastructure providers that host the service (cloud database and hosting providers, processing data on our instructions under their own security certifications), or where disclosure is required by law (for example, to the Bureau of Internal Revenue during a tax audit).

We do not track users across other apps or websites.

5. Security

All data in transit between the apps and the cloud service is encrypted with TLS. Access to business data requires authentication; sensitive operations require manager authorization and are recorded in an append-only audit log. Databases are backed up continuously with point-in-time recovery.

6. Data retention and deletion

Sales and accounting records are retained for the periods required by Philippine tax regulations (up to ten years). Subscribing businesses may request export or deletion of other data by contacting us; statutory records are deleted after their mandatory retention period lapses.

To request deletion of your account or specific data, see Delete your account.

7. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact Nextcore Technology Inc. at sales@nextcoretechnology.com.
